I can hardly catch up on my daily reading of 4042 threads - the doorbell is ringing off the wall. It's fun though! So - who has seen the funniest, scariest and/or most distasteful costume...
I had tons of kids tonight. It was the first time for me in this neighborhood - I was pleasantly surprised! I know I had well over 60 kids... they came in packs! The best thing - no left over candy to tempt me!
I don't know if you would call it the worst costume, but it ended up being a pretty scary costume. I thought a husband,wife ( or possibly older sister) and baby was coming up the driveway. The baby was dressed up as well as I thought the mom in a short skirt witch costume. Only to be shocked by the woman being a grandmother asking for candy along with the child. I was speechless. My neighbor even commented about it later.. It was pretty scary
Spent over $45 in candy and it almost ran out, had to cut down on what i was giving the kids the last hour of trick or treating but i guess i am blessed that i live in a great neighborhood and the neighborhoods around us feel safe sending their kids into ours:-D
I had NONE. This is my first halloween here. Noone in this neighborhood talks. I dont think I like it. My husband went around to the front door, pulled his shirt over his head (like he was headless) Rang the doorbell, I answered, He said trick or treat, I shut the door a little and told him to hold on, I went back and handed him one of the cats......ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!

There was a bartender that her top was so tight it was scary. If the button would have broke, I probably would have screamed :mrgreen:
