Best place to buy a case of chicken

I'm looking to buy a case or two of chicken for a party in June.

Anybody got any ideas on places for me to call? I've heard there is a McLamb's store that sells them?

You may also want to try Edward's IGA in Four Oaks, phone# 963-2015. I have seen people buy meats by the case there many times.

McLamb's was $111.30/case and IGA and DR Wells were $83.30/case.

 

How much/many come in a case? Is it cut up or whole chicken. Thanks for information. I've never bought a case of chicken before but my friend just bought half a cow. Thinking I need to invest in a freezer and start stocking up.

On average you get 20 to 24 whole chickens in a case. Comes out to about 70 lbs. of chicken.
