BENSON-- On Wednesday, January 26, best-selling author Chad Foster will be speaking with staff and students at South Johnston High School. He is one of America's most sought-after speakers in the arena of student and educator motivation. He also hosts a popular program on ESPN. >From 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., Mr. Foster will speak with ninth and tenth grade students from his bestseller "Teenagers Preparing for the Real World." He will help students understand the value of people skills, career consideration, integrity, dreams, and community service. >From 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., he will speak to eleventh and twelfth grade students from his new book "Financial Literacy for Teens." including needs vs. wants, insurance essentials, secrets to saving, credit card debt, and Internet scams.
