Everytime I go to the deli I try a different kind of ham (sliced for sandwhiches.) I haven't found anything that I LOVE. What's your favorite brand/flavor ham?

Off the bone ham at the Amish Country Market on the corner of Allen & Cleveland School rd. Great place to buy deli meats.

I don't have a ham to offer, but I'm pretty partial to Sara Lee's Oven Roasted Turkey.

Considering that the "r" key is several keys away from the "n" key, you must have some truely fat fingers. :jester:

Haven't tried the ham, but the Boars Head Jerk Turkey and the Lemon Pepper Chicken from Lowes Foods is delicious!

Actually glad you started this thread, have been looking for a sliced ham for ages but haven't found one that tastes 'right' to me. Thanks!

No one has mentioned Smithfield Hams. Why is that?

Is Smithfield Ham sold by the slice in the deli for sandwiches? I don't think so. Hence why it might not be mentioned as a deli ham.

If someone has seen it, please let me know.

I did not know that. It is sliced (spiral), but I did not know that you had to buy an entire ham.

I guess that answers my question, thanks.

at Lowes Foods, you can sample al lthe deli meats and cheeses before you buy. I just discovered a new "white' 2% cheddar that I L O V E by tasting all the lower fat cheeses.

Are you talking about the super hard and salty ham that Smithfield makes?

They make a sugar cured ham that you can fix at home. I don't do salt cured ham, DH loves it, but I can't stand it.
