Does anyone know if this place is in business still?? I stopped by there today and there were no hours listed and it was closed. The sign appeared to say retiring huge sale. No one was there and there was no contact information listed. I was interested in buying a few of there concrete statues in the fence. If anyone know any information please post or send me a pm. thanks!
Is this the place at the corner of Cornwallis & 42, next to the car dealer on the corner? IF so, I recall there being a thread sometime last summer or last fall that they were closing... but I don't recall the details.
Yes, that is the place at 42/cornwallis. The sign outside said etring big sale. I am assuming it said retiring ....big sale.... If anyone knows how I can get in contact with the owners please advise. There are several things that I am interested in buying.
It's Becky's Country Corner Thw name of the store is Becky's Country Corner - 553-4615 - They have a answering machine. They used to have very nice flags. We keeps looking as we go by there to see if they are open. But no luck.
The same owner, owns a car lot on 70 by Wal-Mart. Used to be called Your Pro Auto. It is the one closest to Dockside Dolls (i think that's the name of it) and it's on the same side of the street. If I go by today, I'll get his number for ya.

Anyone see this place open?? I would like to know if the pagoda (asian concrete statues) are for sale. There are several nice things I am interested in purchasing from the outside. It is hard to tell ,b ult I am sure they can sell me some things from the inside too!!
Answering machine again!! Just called the number listed and received the answering machine again! Does anyone have any information on what they are doing with the remaining inventory if they are not open any longer!?!?! PLEASE! I spotted my Mother's Day, Anniversary and Birthday Gifts there today!!! My husband is happy now if he can just catch them when they are open!!!!!!
I have spoke to the owners there a couple of months ago about renting the building from him so I could open my bakery and boutique there and he said that he wanted to sell down his inventory first or sell all of it at one time. He was not sure of a price for the merchandise or how much the rent would be. I saw him outside mowing grass yesterday----he drives a Gold Ford 250. Good luck!

I don't think I would be interested in buying all the inventory, but my interest has sure peaked some others on this board and people I have inquired with about the merchandise. I have left four messages and hope to catch him at the shop one day. Does he also own the auto lot right on the corner beside the country store?? If someone happens to talk to him will you tell him to check his answering machine!!...or perhaps someone has another number besides the store (and Harley the number you gave me had no clue who or what I was talking about when I mentioned the store on 42/corwallis. He had no idea where I was speaking of, but thanks!)
