I've heard on the news there is a man who takes old bikes and fixes them up for Christmas for children. We have many, probably about 10 or so, bikes to donate. We don't want to Craigslist these or sell these or give them away. We want to give them specifically to this guy. Does anyone know where he is located or how to get in touch w/ him?? The bicycle man is located in Fayetteville http://www.thebicycleman.com/ . I have also heard there is an organization in raleigh does the same thing and also one in Durham. I have an old bike that I have been meaning to get to him for years, just don't head his way all that often.
Thanks for the link! Maybe if you bring the bike over here, we can take it when we take the load to him in the van. We have a big van and are pulling all the seats out to haul it all. I'll post more info once I get in touch w/ him & when we might be going. stephanie--mom to 7
