    It makes sense and makes you wonder why it has taken so long to deal with it.

    Personally, I think vanity plates that are hard for law enforcement to read should be outlawed as well. Ex. MNWMWN or 5SS52S5

    Another fine, during a recession?!?! I can't believe it.

    There are way too many vanity plates out there as it is now. I'd say the state should look at their own messes before minding the business of motorists who have a standard plate that is easy to ID.
