    Can anyone on here recommend a local bird groomer? Thanks for any leads.

    Yep, Rachel with Curbside Clips, i have several parrots and she is awesome on the clipping and the nails. 919-625-4213, tell her Karen recommended her. Check out all her recommendations on this site too.
