This is truly amazing. Be sure to click on "NEXT PAGE" at[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']

The bottom of each page; there are 5 pages in all. A lady

Found a hummingbird nest and got pictures all the way

From the egg to leaving the nest. Took 24 days from birth to

Flight. Because you'll probably never see this again in

Your lifetime, enjoy and share. The very last picture is

    Amazing.

    wow-talking about small!!!
Makes you wonder what that fuzzy white material is inside the nest :?
I had heard that some birds use the filter material from inside cigarette butts :?:?
Amazing that they could get so close to the nest without the birds taking a fright,I've never seen a nest even though we've got plenty of hummers buzzing around, they must hide them very well!

Hummingbirds line their nests with spider webs.

Speaking of spider webs - I noticed quite a few of those yellow and black spiders recently, the ones that have that zig-zaggy line in their web. A few years ago we had a lot of them on the front porch but this year is the first time I noticed them once again.

That was so neat! I have had a hummingbird feeder ever since we moved into this house and just the other day was the first time I saw and hummingbirds at the feeder. It was so neat to watch them. One of them even flew right up to the kitchen window and it was like it was looking right in at me. It was so cool!!!
