    Bleeker Chrysler in Dunn

We bought a truck from Bleeker a month ago. We got it late on a Friday night so they told us to bring it back the following week to have it detailed and to fix minor problems. The pockets on the back of the seats were gonna be fixed. No key to to unlock tires so we can't get them off. No jack and the inspection sticker was out. We took it back to be fixed and cleaned. They inspected it and drove out all the gas. Picked it up with gas light on. Calling to complain didn't help. We've been calling for over 2 weeks and they are giving me the run around about the tags. The tags are now dead. Called this morning and they said they would go see if tags were ready if not they would issue another 30 day tag. Talked with a car dealer who said it was against the law to do that. Called DMV and they have no paperwork on the truck. I now have a truck that I can't drive because of their neglect. I will never do business with this dealership again.

I carry all of my service business on my Dodge product to Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Garner. Their service department has been most helpful on a number of occasions and they shoot straight, too. They've even ran a diagnostic on my vehicle before as a courtesy and diagnosed the problem with a cheap fix rather than socking it to me. If I decide to go with another Chrysler product, I will shop there first.

I don't know that much about Bleeker, but I am sorry you've had so much trouble.

I second Capital in Garner. Good luck with them, but my truck is still under warranty.

Good luck, but that deal sounds a little shady. :?

Ok I am spitting mad now. I just called them back and they laughed at me. Told me that people drive all the time with dead tags and if I don't get stopped I won't get a ticket. They would try to get my tags today or tomorrow or whenever and I could drive over there to pick them up.

These days they need to be doing all they can to make customers satisfied. Just think how many people your post may have deterred from going to Bleeker for a new car or for service.

If you haven't done so I would go to management.

Have you elevated your concerns to the sales manager, the service manager or even the general manager?

I've talked to several people there. The finance manager is the one that laughed at me. I called VP of operations this morning but no return call yet.

sorry to hear that but I am not surprised. I had a similar experience, but it was about 10 years ago with warranty work.

I guess some things never change.

Are you in a grace period where you can return the car. I think that may wake the bums up

Tell them you're calling the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. If that doesn't work, call 5 on Your Side.

Drive back and forth in front of their dealership until you get pulled over for expired tags, then explain to the officer that they told you it was fine, hahahahaha. Kidding. Sort of. Yeah, I'm kidding.

Jester has the best advice, really.

    IMHO

THEY need to BRING the tags to your house and install them-not expect you to waste more gas going to them! Its their mistake-not yours! Ask directly for General Manager-go straight to the top. Also tell them about your post on 4042-invite them to read what other potential customers are reading-and ask them-is this how you want to be perceived?

Go straight to 5 on your side.

The way the economy is now, nobody needs a bad business report on local TV. 8)

Another option could be to seek out help from Chrysler, but I'd first CALL the general manager as ncroxx stated. Tell him you're disgusted by the way you're being treated as a new customer and that you expected better.

This is supposed to be Chrysler's customer service line: 1-800-992-1997.

I've bought 3 vehicles from Bleecker and never had a problem. They were all GMs, but that shouldn't make a difference, other than the fact I never needed any warranty work. But the main question is: when did they submit paperwork to DMV? I bought a vehicle at Deacon Jones one time and had the problem with the tags, but DMV was the one running behind and not sending the tag to the dealership, so I couldn't blame Deacon Jones for it.

Call 5 on your side..Put them on BLAST...They will get you fixed up.

Capital CJD is a good dealership when it comes to the serivce dept....Their sales department is something else..

They didn't want to make a deal on a brand new SUV so I went elsewhere and got the deal I wanted. But they do all my service and do a WONDERFUL job with it.

Don't they have to answer to those complaints? You might just call where they are manufactured.

I would call to give them a chance to make things right for you....Give them 24 hours and advise them if they are unable to assist you you will have absolutely no alternative but to contact the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and 5 on Your Side right after you call Chrysler's Corporate Office and share the situation with them. Be sure to use the CEO's name so they know you have the info to do just that.
