Empire Today Flooring - good reviews or NOT???? Has anyone hired Empire Flooring to put in real wood floors / kitchen "stone" tiles ???? I am considering a few businesses, and made an appointment with Empire because they don't give any info EXCEPT in the in-home estimate. I would appreciate a few responses so I can feel more confident with my decision. Budgeting my Money and quality are the most important factors, but i know there are also some great local stores around here too ... Any advice ???
We had someone come out bc we wanted to re-floor out bonus room and bathroom, but the guy that came out said they only had the hard wood and laminate wood looking floor. Not quite what I wanted for the bonus room or bathroom. He was very nice though, not pushy at all. Sorry I couldnt be of any more assistance.
We used Empire for our home. I WOULD NOT suggest this company to anyone. We had tile flooring installed in our kitchen and hardwood throughout our entire downstairs. The workmanship was horrible. We have had to spend so much money to repair things that happened in our home. We had to have a plumber out to repair a pipe in our bathroom. The toilet paper holder was torn out of the wall. We have replaced moulding around the floor. They "forgot" to do the pantry in the kitchen. The carpet was cut very short at the seam, so we had to have it stretched. They drove across our lawn in a work truck after my husband specifcally asked them not to and broke a sprinkler head. Really, I could go on and on. We completely regret our decision. Overall, our main complaint was the lack of attention to details.
