Board Approves HR Director, Assistant Principal Intern Site Change The Johnston County Board of Education has approved the a new appointment in Human Resources and a site change for an Assistant Principal Intern: Human Resources Director, Martha (Marcie) Holland, effective April 12. Holland comes to Johnston County Schools from the Department of Public Instruction, where she has served as a Personnel Analyst in School Personnel Support and a Specialist in the Licensure section. Carla W. Taylor, Assistant Principal Intern and Principal Fellow, will move to South Smithfield Elementary School from East Clayton Elementary School, effective April 15. Taylor is a former Reading Specialist and third grade teacher. She has also taught second and fourth grades.
