    Board of Education Approves Personnel Recommendations

    SMITHFIELD-- The Johnston County Board of Education has approved the following Superintendent's recommendations made at a special session held on Thursday, May 31.

    School Administrators' Contracts

    Principals:

    Four Year Contracts * July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2011
    * Todd Holmes - West Smithfield Elementary School
    * Amelia McLeod * Johnston County Middle College High School
    * Rodney Peterson - Meadow School - Effective July 1, 2007

    Assistant Principals:

    Four Year Ten Month Contracts * July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2011

    * Christopher Dickey
    * Jarvis Ellis
    * Maureen Hanahue
    * Janice Jett
    * Bill Jordan
    * Don Lee
    * Robin Pate
    * Michael Price

    Two Year Ten Month Contracts - July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009

    * Stephen Baker
    * Nathaniel Grant, Jr.

    Central:
