Folks, wanted to share....brag...forgive..but this is so great in my mind... Tonight, I was given, by my LOML, a serial numbered # 240 of 413, autographed by Brett Favre and Dan Marino, football the NFL presented in honor of Favre's breaking Marino's 420 TD record. As a die hard Packer fan since 66, this one took me by surprise. It's an overwhelming gift. Go Pack! Carl
Now, THAT is something to hold onto! That is just one of "those" gifts, if you know what I mean. I've got a Packers mini helmet autographed by Bart Starr. Not a packers fan but when you get the chance to meet someone like that, shake his hand and have him autograph something like that, it's worth keeping! One of my favorite gifts has to be a book that I got last year from a friend. She knew I was a big Jets fan and knew I was a big Namath fan as well. She got the book "Namath" for me. One of the best gifts I have ever gotten aside from my first drum kit in 1968 (picture in avatar).
