Angeleyes mentioned this in the Hooters thread, (thanks Angeleyes!), and I thought it was worth having it's own thread. Fighting Breast Cancer is something I'm passionate about. My maternal grandmother and bf's mother both lost their battles against this terrible disease, but my mother's best friend has won her's recently! Don't forget to get your boobs squeezed ladies! :D A mammogram along with self-exam could save your life.

    I second that!

Most of my family has been pretty lucky,
    except for one.
She had Breast Cancer at 17.
They got it with a lapro, and were able to save her breast,
but now she does self checks every month
    Please check and be checked!

Sorry for yours and your friends loss Missy.

My first cousin lost her battle with breast cancer when she was only in her 40s. :(

Remember that there are other cancers that are silent killers too! While you're making your appt to get your boobie squeezed, make sure to make and keep an appt for your yearly physical, and insist they test for HPV!
