Saturday Night they are having a HUGE bunco thing for Relay For Life at the Kids Clubhouse off of 42 in Clayton....I'm sure you could find a group there!

I thought about going Saturday night. I would love to find a group to play Bunco with. Really wanted to get neighbors to play, but they just haven't been interested. So, maybe I will see some of you on Saturday.

Yeah - me either. Have some friends (don't live around here) that talk about getting together and playing.....but mostly its just an excuse (for them) to have a girls night and drink and eat, from the way they talk!

I think they still have room for players. I'm sure you could find out more my emailing Christine or stopping by the Sweet Carolina Gourmet Store. It sounds like fun ... and its for a great cause. This is from an email I got yesterday:

"We still have some spots left for Bunco Mania. If you would still like to register, please email christine@sweetcg.com ... We are very excited about this event and we have collected over $1000 worth of prizes to be won during Bunco and our raffles prizes, so join us this Saturday, April 5th for the FUN!!

    Sweet Regards,
    Christine Goldner
    Sweet Carolina Gourmet"

There are lots of sites that explain the game:

What I like about Bunco is that it’s a wonderful way to meet new folks. You are constantly swapping partners. Everyone has a playing card to track their wins & losses with their name on it - so it you forget their name, you can just peak at their card :) For folks who are a little shy its a great way to make new friends because you are given a reason to sit down at the table with strangers who will hopefully be new friends/acquaintances in the future. We play in our neighborhood and Bunco has given me a chance to meet many wonderful people I probably would have never had a chance to get to know otherwise. Bunco a game that can be played by folks of all ages (well almost all ages ... the dice would probably be a swallowing hazard for the little ones). It's a REALLY easy game ... that you can learn to play as you go. If you've never played Bunco, the event this weekend may be a good place to learn.
