Ok... I know I mentioned the Fried Trukey thing in the past... Well now I need a taste tested recipe please??? Anyone have one? My Dad always did a more cajun flavor so I would like something like that if anyone has one??? I saw one on Paula Deen's website but not really the cajun taste but is my back up! What about those injectable marinades, I know there is one by Tony Cecheres or Emeril that is cajun???
Speaking as a Cajun, what you people think is Cajun flavour, isn't at all. My Mom has cooked Cajun food her whole life and has never heard of cayenne pepper (still doesn't, as far as I know). If she ever "blackened" anything, she would have cursed at burning it and thrown it away.
