Hi Again! I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good primary care physician in this area? Someone who is good from bumps and bruises to a cold, etc... Thanks so much!

When looking for a new MD do the research. Check records for malpractice lawsuits against him/her and what they were for, public records for everyone to see. Is he/she on your insurance companies provider list? Find out which hospitals he/she has privileges at and if he/she has someone that he/she uses when on vacation, get a check on them as well. Medical practices with multiple MDs has it's pros/cons but I'd never go to a doctor that is on his/her own. Asking others for a good MD is the same as asking about their opinions on restaurants, some have good experiences at a medical office when others have had a bad experience at the same. Personally I go to Garner Family-Dr. David Spivey, love him and Dr. Pleasants but not very crazy about the other MDs in that group. The ladies at the front could be a little friendlier as well, but because of these two great MDs they will continue to have our business.
I like going to Dr. Miller at the medical center located behind med cap. They will always fit me in if I feel under the weather and call in. Everyone is very nice in the office. This is right off of highway 210 behind the gas station
