Hi Again! I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good hair dresser. I live in Clayton and keep driving back to Greenville to get my hair done. My hair is the only thing I'm really picky about. Thanks!
Just got mine done with Connie Nellis @ Two Friends Salon today(here in Clayton). Very happy with it. Dana Shipp @ D. Christie Salon is very good too, she used to do mine, but I got tired of driving over there as I am not in that area (right across from the Cleveland Emporium). I've got "difficult" hair that not everyone can cut, so I understand the "picky" part! I think HarleyGirl has someone she highly recommends too, but the name escapes me for the moment, do a search of this forum for threads on hairdressers, it will probably come up.
I really love Sandy Johnson at Pure Salon, used to be Creative Hair Designs. They are at 4042 right next to Dairy Queen. But only go to Sandy if you don't mind a great scalp massage and maybe even a glass of wine if you happen in some afternoon when she's not too busy. Oh, yeah, she's does great cut and color, too! The number is 773-0404.
Chenoa Morgan at 'Studio 312', she has been doing cut/color to mine for 10 years. She just opened her own Salon, 'Studio 312', next to Riccobene Dentist and Marcos Italilan, on Hwy 42 at 40/42. I am super picky and she has never let me down! Good Luck! Tell her Kelly sent ya! 662-5312
That is where I went as well, but I went to Michelle Drake and she does my whole family..she did such a good job on my hair and I got so many wow's at work in Raleigh, several have looked into going to her as well. She did a wonderful job with the highlights that she did as well. I recommend her. Sheri
Michelle Barefoot owns her own salon Headquarters Styling Studio. She is located at the new strip mall on Hwy. 70 going out of Clayton. Her number is 795-9164. Awesome colorist and stylist. I have recommended at least 6 people to her and they ALL love her. I get so many compliments on my hair.
This may be a lil drive but its not as bad as greenville Andrea @ Andrea and Company Salon and Day Salon on 50 towards Benson Shes great and her staff is good too
If you do not mind driving to Raleigh then I would say Jasemin at Salon Jasemin.... She does a great job and in a Color Expert - she travels formajor shows also! She is not a fake, prissy girl but a down to earth girl from Germany that knows what she is doing! She is great! 919-838-3322 (she books up fast sometimes 2 months or more so call quick! LOL)
I'm bored with my hair. I used to have very long hair that was all one length, then I cut it very very short because DH likes short hair, and now it's shoulder length or so. I'm just bored with it. I want something different. What do you guys do when you get like that? Search the web? Seek the advice of your stylist?
I just turned Connie loose on my hair yesterday. Told her to do whatever she wanted to with it! I just didn't care! Haven't had a haircut since April and was hating it! It had gotten past my shoulders, so she layered the daylights out of it, took off a few inches, thinned it out some (I have thick, coarse hair) and ta da!! I LOVE it!! Feel like I lost 10 pounds! :-D
Try Wanda at Tress Vous Salon on hwy 210 next to the Food Lion. She is awesome! She has quite a "following", if you will, so you need a scheduled appt with her. The rest of the girls are great too and they do walk-ins as well!
I go buy several of those hair magazines and search for a new style/color, etc. I'm about to that point myself, I've got to decide what I want in a couple of weeks when I go in.
hairdresser Ditto on what Kelly said! Chenoa has been mine and my hubby's hairdresser for 8 years and she has always done a fantastic job. Love Her!!
