We've stepped out of 2007 and connected out Wii to the internet. And I understand you can use Netflix through the Wii, yes? Netflix advertises as 7.99 a month? Does it stay 7.99 a month or do they jack up the price later?
They have price increases occasionally. I have had netflix off/on for at least 7+ years. 3+ consistently for streaming. The streaming is the greatest. Generally if they raise prices you will know about it.
I use Netflix on my Wii ... but keep an eye on your netflix 'package' and make sure it includes streaming. In the past few months, they've made all sorts of changes (then changed those changes .. and made changes to THOSE changes .. so I've lost track of what they charge for which these days).
Since they went with a streaming only plan that is what I have. They have had a hard time with the DVD and streaming and made some customers mad by trying to split them. Streaming only is like $7.99 and is the only thing we use.
We have ours run through our Wii too and have had the streaming for about 3 years, absolutely love it, for $7.99 a month you can't beat it.
