Can anyone recommend a good place to have a car detailed? I'm not looking for the cheapest price, I'm looking for someone who does it right and takes pride in their work.

Me too. Old wheels is looking tired & needs a super-douper vac job too.

Those dog hairs are starting to take over!

Not to be a smarty pants, but I find it easier to do it your self.

There is a guy that stays out during the day at the car wash in Clayton in the T Mart parking lot. I know PLENTY of people who swear by this guy. He details inside and out. Not sure of his prices, must be pretty reasonable, they keep going back. Only way I know how to get in touch with him is pull up in the parking lot and talk to him. He's always washing someones car every time I go by there. There's also a place in front of Wal-Mart in Clayton. Don't know the name of them either. Not much help am I !?

Don't use the place in front of walmart! They are sorry! We were very disappointed! And will never go back!

I would recommend Jack's Detailing on Main Street in Clayton. We've had a basic job done there and a very thorough job (wash/wax, deep clean seats and carpets, engine clean). His crew did a great job and for what I thought was a reasonable price. They will pickup/drop off within a 5 mile radius I believe. The number is 553-9932.

    Oh Boy!

If you want the best job, for the lowest price, please please please call my Dad... He does a GREAT job, and I've been trying to convince him to go into business with me with detailing... However, he just enjoys it and cannot charge more than $50 for a complete detail.

He doesn't do it professionally (yet!), but I'll guarantee his work... He'll make sure you're happy before accepting any payment.

Shoot me a PM or reply to this post for his contact info...

    Thanks,
    Jason
