They've been killing their own, look at the wrong way wreck on 440 last week. Its just now its front page news they are doing it closer to home.
I was once told by a NC state trooper....if they pull over a male hispanic after 10 pm..there is a 75% chance they've been drinking.
Another thing that scares me (as discussed in Sunday's N&O) is that now that we have made it illegal for the undocumented to get drivers licenses, they now cannot register for vehicles or obtain insurance. We can argue over the percentage that bothered to get insurance or what kind of vehicles they own, but essentially we have just: 1) Forced many to use vehicles that are not safe for the road, 2) When something happens there won't be any insurance, and 3) An increase in hit and runs as a result of this. Yes, I know they shouldn't be here and they "should all be shipped south" but that isn't going to happen in the near future. So essentially to make ourselves think we are safer we probably have endangered ourselves more.
