Can anyone recommend a good place that sells and installs carpet? I want to call around and get some estimates.

    Look Here for Carpet

I would suggest try calling John Lisk Carpet. He sells carpet from the Fuquay Flea Market. I bought carpet, padding, and had it installed all on the same day (a Saturday which was remarkable to me) for a VERY reasonable price. This carpet was for my daughter's bedroom and was installed 2 years ago. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for all of this but I think it was about $125. The carpet has held up beautifully and I was very satisified with it and the installation. The men who installed it arrived when they said they would and worked very quickly and efficiently. They even hauled off her old carpet at no extra charge. I also recently purchased carpet for our double wide at the beach from the same place. I got carpet for the living room which was 12 x 23 and 3 large bedrooms as well. Carpet and padding ran me about $600. Of course we picked the carpet up and had my son install it at the beach. Try getting 4 rooms of carpet and padding for that price anywhere else. I also bought vinyl to install in the kids bathroom at the beach from the same place for $18.00! John is at the Flea Market every day after 4:00 and every weekend. His number at the Flea Market is 469-8424 or you can give him a call on his mobile at 210-8107. You can go there on the weekends to check out what he has available. You can get a better price by buying a remnant that will fit your room and he always give you a better price than what is marked on it. Or, you can buy any size by the yard very reasonable. I would recommend him and his installers to anyone who needs good quality carpet and padding at a fair price. Hope you find what you're looking for!

If you buy from them ask that Danny Johnson install the carpet. He is excellent.

I agree with the Lowe's recommendation.....tell them Home Depot has a 20% off all installed carpeting and they will match it.

Danny Johnson can install for you no matter where you buy your carpet. His phone number is 550-5294.

  15. Lowe's or Home Depot are great for people who want to buy their carpet with their credit card. Better deals at Handy Andy in Selma, and Real Deal Flooring on South Saunders St in Raleigh.

    "FloorMark"?

What about the LOCAL guy "FloorMark"? Mark is the guy's name and his shop/buz/office/showroom was on the loop near the SECU @ 40/42. I think he is across the street now in the newer building. We used him for a kitchen floor, nothing fancy, but a GREAT PRICE & FAST. I saw many carpet samples in his showroom. This was 3+ years ago.

    I would use him again.

    I found this on 4042

    Floormark Flooring Supplies
    5533 Hwy 42 W
    Garner, NC 27529
    Phone: 779-6553

http://www.floormark.com/ But it looks like they may only do commercial work.

    We need new floors too...

    ...and a paint job

    ...and a roof

    ....and siding

    ....and a drive way

...and .... Well, maybe just a big pack of matches would do the trick!
