There is a calf just lying in the field...it mom and all the others just wander away and do cow things.. this little one just stays put. He gets up and moves a bit. then lies back down... is he gonna die or is this normal.. I have no idea who owns the cows across the street. i also had no idea just how freakin loud a MOOOOO really is.- they just extended the range for the cow to be directly across the street from me...
How old is it? My grandmother had a dairy farm and the newborns would be still for the first little bit, but within 24 hours or so, it should be up following her around if not sooner.
