    Hi Everyone,
Ok you helped me find a venue for my daughters upcoming sweet 16 party. I'm sure you can help me find a caterer. I may do it myself, but I thought I would check some out first:)..Teen food, chicken fingers, tater skins, etc....
    Thanks

Just my opinion ..... I wouldn't spend a whole lot on food....kids that age don't tend to eat much when they're at a party. At my son's party we had chips and dip, pizza bites (from BJ's) , chips and salsa, canned drinks and the only thing that got eaten completely were the pizza bites, oh and we had cake, about half of that got eaten. I guess it may depend on what time you're starting too.....ours started at like 7:00pm.

Depending on what kind of foods your daughter and friends like to eat, you can always find catering services at most resturants, like CiCi, Mayflowers, Golden Corral, White Swan, Formano, Food Lions, etc.

If you want fancy catering, the only place I can think of is Unforgettable Catering, which is located at Cleveland shopping center area. I haven't tried it yet, but the people there I know of are super-nice. They have menu that you can pick it up.

For budget wise, you can always shop at BJ's warehouse and they have tons of party foods at the freezer/fresh food section. They also have deli dept to offer catering as well. A large bag of frozen mini meatball can be placed in a crockpot to cook is an easy job and yummy to eat.

Try internet searching under Raleigh catering or check the yellow page.

Good luck and I hope your daughter/friends will have a great time soon. :)

Thanks everyone. I was leaning toward the BJ thing as well. I don't have any warmers and equipment so that's the reason for looking into caterers.
    Thanks again!

We borrowed some from our church. You might could rent those from places that rent wedding stuff....I think there's one on S. Saunders St, can't remember the name, maybe United Rent All?

You can buy the aluminum ones at Party City. They are light, easy to use and the can be thrown away afterwards. I think they come 3 in a pack for 24.99. Do believe it also has serving utensils and the burners that go underneath.
