I have 4 kittens and 2 adult cats on my front porch. they belong to the neighbors but hang here when we are outside. I've noticed the past couple of days they have taken up residence. I finally fed them today and they acted like they have never had cat food. Some of them need vet attention. I can't keep them and the neighbors don't need them. I've seen them kicking them, throwing them, dragging them around the yard with a belt around their necks, stuffing them in mailboxes. Somebody please give me some advice.....
Not me girl, call the JCAPL or shelter to see what can be done. I hate that you have sucky neighbors. :boxing: Invite me over, I'd like to get my hands on them.
Yes, neighbors suck. Mine can't take care of the dogs they have, so guess what???? They got a new puppy!! Yippee Skippee!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
these cat (all 6 of them) won't leave. they are running in my house as soon as the door is opened. one came in last night and went straight to my stove and in the middle of out dinner (that I cooked) before i could get him. other neighbors are complaining too. some have actually threatened to kill them if they were not gone soon.
Unfortunately ......... JCAPL is FULL to the max with cats/kittens/pups/dogs.... You will have to take them to the shelter/call animal control to come pick them up. Good luck
i don't have any other option but to call the pound. the neighbors won't feed them, some look sick and i can't have them running in my house every time the door is opened. and i don't want them around mine.
Yep unfortunately this is true too... But there is possibility of other rescues pulling .... many various rescues go thru JCAS. Of course "many" being not enough since not all animals can be saved ....
you can try going to animalshelter.org and it will give you a list of shelters in the area based on what zip code you put in and whatever distance from it you chose. some names I know off the top of my head: Second Chance pet adoptions Haven Friends for life Marley's Cat Tales Safe Haven for Cats Independent Animal Rescue
