Is the 4th of July event organized by the chamber or civitan club?

The chamber of commerce has been helping for the last few years. In the early years of the festival a volunteer group (called ourselves Celebrate Cleveland) of residents got together and raised money to have the parade, music, food, ballgames, fireworks, etc. I heard that the chamber didn't want to help this year but that is just rumor so I wanted to know mostly about the parade. My grandchildren and great-neices are old enough to participate this year with a float so my main concern was about the parade. Thanks for any info.

My children and husband rode their bikes in the parade last year. My youngest was five at the time and insisted they do this with their daddy. She *loves* being in front of groups of people. She was just asking this week if we could do a little float this year so we need some info., too.

I called the Chamber earlier this week and there will be a parade, however, they had not decided whether or not to have vendors.
