Charities that pick up?

    Anyone have any recommendations for a charity that will pick up in the 40/42 area?

    I have several things I'd like to donate (large items like sofa, loveseat, day bed) and have no way to take them somewhere myself. Thanks in advance.

    I don't man, but lots of times if you set them out next to the road with a free sign on Saturday, They will get picked up.

    Vietnam Veterans of America picks up in our area of Clayton. Normally they have one day a month they are in the area. Call 1-800-775-VETS (8387).

    They'll probably get picked up faster if the sign says $10. :)

    I received a card in teh mail that said Vietnam Vets will be picking up in the area on 10/14, so call quick if you're interested.
