I'm looking for a NICE chess set if anyone has one for sale, or more likely, knows where I can get one. I've found cheap ones everywhere but that's not what I'm looking for.

Have you check Brookstone.. I think thats the store in the mall. Maybe the name is off a little, I think I saw them with some at one time or another.

I believe we have one with glass pieces that has only been used a couple of times. I'll look on the game shelf, if you are interested. You can have it for free.

There's this place in Knightdale ( near Target, IHOP, and Home Depot)
I can't think of the name of it. Has the word Game in the name of the store. They sale all kinds of sets. Knights, Confederate Soldiers, Wizards, and such. Sorry I can't remember the name, but its to the left of IHOP in a row of other stores.........

Nice set and unusual to see one of that quality with checkers included.

There was a place in Cary named All fun & games that had a lot of nice Chess sets.

I think they may have moved to Apex.

    Here's their website:

They're actually backgammon pieces, but I don't have all of them. I bought the set when I was stationed in South Korea in 1988. I was never very good at chess.

Ahhhh, thus the dice. Still an unusual combination but still a very nice looking set.
