So, where can I sign up my pooch as a beta tester for chew toys? All the "indestructable" toys are gone in less than a week. Admittedly, this isn't that serious of a question, but it's just a thought as he's finishing up what's left of a ball we bought him this week. I'm sure he's not the only one. Yes, the toys get expensive, but at least it saves on the teeth cleaning bills!
Not sure about the Beta, but get your pup a "Kong" . He will have it forever ! Dogs love them, and some are fillable with their treats! You wont go wrong spending the extra $ on these toys ! PetsMart has a variety.
Chew toy I second the Kong, it will keep my dog busy for a while. My american bulldog goes through toys very fast. We also have a green rubber bone like thing, that we got at Petsmart. It has lasted a long time, I think we have had it 8mths already. We goy this "indestructable" stuffed animal and it was ripped in 10 minutes and I had to throw it away the next morning. They must have poodles testing these indestructable toys!!
We've resorted to using the chew ropes lately because it's the only thing our lab doesn't tear apart in the first day or so. And forget anything soft in our house. The lab used to be ok with them, but our senior citizen terrier would tear up anything soft within 5 minutes. So we don't buy them anymore. If you find a beta test opportunity for dog toys, let me know! I bet my lab could teach them a thing or 2.
