I was just watching the 'unedited' nanny cam video on WRAL. At least now I know why she's wearing a towel, lol! Apparently one of the babies threw-up on her, so I guess she was washing her clothes. But watching that, she does snuggle and kiss on the babies - I really just think she was COMPLETELY CLUELESS as to how to handle babies, no concern for their safety. Not that excuses her behavior.
I'd have to agree. In no way am I defending her, but it appears to me that what you have here is someone who is completely clueless as how to properly take care of infants. She's probably never been taught or has very limited experience with infants. Holding them in some of the positions she's seen holding them in can cause severe brain damage known as "Shaken Baby Syndrome", severe swelling of the brain occurs, place a ripe tomatoe in a mason jar filled with water, shake it up, watch what happens. Hopefully the infants are well and they grow to be happy, healthy little boys and this woman moves on to some other line of work and gets some education on how to care for children before she has any of her own.
I dunno, they said she had a kid of her own and references. Monkeys know better than to hang their babies upside like that.
I watched it too and it looked more like a case of indifference than abuse to me. But, thank God that little baby didn't fall off that couch!
