I know our area recently lost a children's consignment store, so I thought I would post this for all of those interested... A company out of High Point, NC called Weeruns will be sponsoring a large scale children's consignment sale in Raleigh (off Glenwood Ave near Bed Bath and Beyond) on September 22nd, and then again on September 24th with all remaining items near half price. They will be offering children's clothing, furniture, equipment, toys, and maternity clothing. Proceeds generated go to a charity called Caroline's Promise, a non-profit organization which assists in the adoption of children. If you decide to consign items for the sale, you will be able to go the night before it is open to the public to purchase items brought in from all consignors. Heard today this has been cancelled due to a lease issue for the building to be used by the company hosting the sale. Spread the word.
