Some have asked about pools so thought I'd share .... If you do not mind the drive, here is a family affordable pool where you can expect modest dress (one piece suits girls) and good clean fun. --------------------------- Forwarding from another source ... Most of the pools in North raleigh are charging upwards of $500. this year. The Christian Community at Brentwood will only be charging $250. per family if you sign up before April 9th. It's $275. after April 9th. ( They have extended the early registration from April 1st to allow families to get in on this price if they are just now finding out about it ...like me!) They will be offering swimming lessons to all ages this year and will have a swim team also. Here are the directions to the pool; The Chrsitian Community at Brentwood is located at 3300 Vinson Ct. Take I-440 to Capital Blvd., North. Take Captial about 1/2 mile to Brentwood. Go left on Brentwood for about 3/4 of a mile until you see Vinson Ct. Take a right on Vinson. The pool is straight ahead. Wow, that's a great price....just wish it was closer. I'm not sure with the price of gas going up steadily that I would go enough to make it worth the cost of the drive.
