Is any local organization selling Christmas trees as a fund raiser this year? I want a real tree, and I'd rather buy it from them than from Food Lion or someplace like that.
Usually the Kiwanis club in Garner has a Christmas tree lot, off of Vandora Springs Road near the really sharp corner at the split with Buffaloe Rd. I know that isn't Johnston County but it is a community service organization that is fairly local. I thought I had heard that the boyscouts were selling trees too but don't know details.
Thanks! I hope some Boy Scout parents will check in here & let me know if there's one in JoCo, 'cuz I wanna get my tree today or tomorrow! Some group had a lot near Food Lion at 40/42 last year, but I haven't seen any signs there this year.
