CLAYTON-- With a goal of teaching students about the devastating
tsunami and its tragic consequences, Clayton High School administration
approached the Student Government Association, who spearheaded a
fundraiser that has netted more than $6,000 thus far. The money was
raised through grade-level competitions, with the promise of a picnic
for the winning grade level. (The Junior class won the competition.)
There was also a good showing from the staff, faculty, and clubs at CHS.
At this time, a check is being prepared for presentation to the proper
    representatives.

"We're very proud of the fact that students and staff here at Clayton
High not only are good students but as human beings possess core value.
We are extremely grateful for their spirit of compassion," said
    Principal Jerry Smith.
