Wondering if anyone who attends Church @ Clayton Crossing can provide an update on the anticipated move into the Winn Dixie building. Is there a target date? I understand the church intends that to be used for community outreach. What plans does the church have for ministry/outreach?
Bad Decision By Town of Clayton Board of Adjustment We saw several individuals standing in a circle, holding hands, and heads bowed inside the facility a couple of weeks ago. No other activity to indicate change over. I wish the church well but in my opinion this was a very bad decision by the Town of Clayton Board of Adjustment. This is retail space. The decision will cost the Town of Clayton big bucks in both sales tax revenues and property taxes. The decision will be the doom of this retail shopping center. The church should have relocated to another area in Clayton.
With WalMart and the huge new shopping area yet to be built near WalMart, do you think they would have gotten a retailer to fill that space? I personally think it is a great way to recycle and use and existing structure for a positive purpose in the community.
