Our dear friends are caught up in a nightmare of a mess caused by CitiMortgage's error. They paid their mortgage on line, as they have for years, received conformation etc. only to discover a few days later that Citi took twice the confirmed amount (some sort of computer error) It's been over a week now and Citi still hasn't returned their money. Anyone else having this problem with Citi?
Why didn't they just file a dispute with their bank? Most banks would've put the money back into their acct immediately and taken the dispute up with citi.
