The NC Capitol will hold a living history program entitled Raleigh Occupied with tours of the Capitol featuring character interpretations recalling Sherman's occupation of Raleigh in April 1865.

In conjunction with the Capitol tours, Company I of the Sixth NC, will present a living history with a period Federal encampment. Members of the Sixth, portraying Sherman's troops, will participate in company drill and answer questions about the Civil War soldier's life. The living history hours are from 10 am until 4 pm on Saturday.
