The NC Capitol will hold a living history program entitled Raleigh Occupied with tours of the Capitol featuring character interpretations recalling Sherman's occupation of Raleigh in April 1865. In conjunction with the Capitol tours, Company I of the Sixth NC, will present a living history with a period Federal encampment. Members of the Sixth, portraying Sherman's troops, will participate in company drill and answer questions about the Civil War soldier's life.
