Anyone planning on going this year? We went last year (I had free tickets) and had a good time, but I really didn't think it was worth $20 a person. They sure were packed though. We probably won't go this year to many spooky places because the last thing I need is this baby being scared outta me, lol. Anyone else know of other good spooky places though?
If anyone happens to be in the area, we do our haunted house every year, and this year we have added the Halls Of Horror.... It is free, lots of candy, and we do have a safe path for the little ones. We are in the Pleasant Woods subdivision, those who live in this subdivision probably have been to ours, we are on Goldfield Drive, the first road to the left or right depending on which entrance you came in after you come into Pleasant Woods. Come one Come all.....if you dare.
I live just down the street from it, I can hear the folks screaming from my house, so I haven't gone! LOL!
we live in the neighborhood too, we will definitely check it out! by the way is there any organized halloween activities for the kids here? we are new and dont want to drive back to raleigh for a halloween parade.
I am going to Fear Farm next Friday (the 13th) and I am scared crazy. I am also going to Scarowinds the last weekend this month. I heard that was really fun. I will let ya'll know. I am sort of a wimp, but I am doing this all for the hubby so I must be a good sport.
http://www.lightsontheneuse.com/ Check this out, run by the same folks, I can't wait for that! A Christmas hayride to see a million lights, sounds like fun!
would love to have ya'll out there...pm me for directions if you dont know where it is. Tiger, I dont know about any organized activities, but the neighborhood gets into halloween, there are usually a lot of tots running around, if we can keep the few jerks from doing 80 through the neighborhood. Check out www.pleasantwoods.com for more stuff. Pirate, You can take the safe path too. It is all lots of fun, and we do tone it down for the younger ones who dont want to "wimp" out, (that's what my kids say) and we keep it a little less scary for them. So I am sure we could keep it down for you too
