Clayton High School Begins Centennial Celebration Saturday

Congressman Bob Etheridge will kick off the festivities scheduled for the May 15 celebration of Clayton High Schools' 100 years of history and accomplishment. The program will begin at 6 p.m. in the new gym, followed by a reception and dance for CHS alumni. Former faculty of CHS who may still be in the county are invited to attend.

There is a $10 per adult registration fee for the day long festivities. On-site registration will be available starting at 12:30 p.m.

Before the evening program and dance, a carnival and mini class reunions will be held from 1:00-5:30 in the afternoon. A historical display also will be on exhibit. Former CHS faculty are invited to the school's teacher's lounge for refreshments and socializing from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
