Clayton High School's Men of Distinction, a leadership
program for teenage males at CHS, is recognizing six students each month
for writing winning essays on character. The first six will be treated
to a special lunch on Wednesday, September 22. The papers must be
typed, and the top five names from each group will be placed in a hat
for a drawing. All winners receive a "special" lunch, and their essays
will be posted until the next drawing. They could also receive bonus
    prizes.

September winners are Kayla Shumate, Brett Benson, Brittany Litada,
Chatia Ellington, Carmen Riveria, and Brandon Ray. Their essays were
written about the character trait respect. They will be treated
Wednesday, September 22 at 11:30 a.m. to a special lunch.
