FYI, The Clayton Town Council will take a final vote on the Clayton FY15/16 budget on June 15, 2015. The most current revision of the town budget includes a property tax increase on town residents. The Town Council has received very little feedback from residents in regard to the proposed property tax increase. If you are a Clayton, NC resident currently paying Clayton town property tax, please consider contacting Mayor Pro Tem Grannis and the other members of the Town Council to voice your opinion regarding the proposed tax increase.
