Hey, Do anyone know when the 40/42 Super Walmart center will open and when will they post things for employment?

Now that would be typical of the insanity known as 40/42 Lowe's Home Improvement is listed at Clayton and the Walmart behind it and closer to Clayton would be known as Garner. You are going to cause all the Incorporation people out on this one.
The hiring phase is over. There were all kinds of signs and postings about it. i got a part time job there before the building was even finished. It opens Aug 19th (the manager was hoping for a week earlier but it depends on if the store is ready or not).
Yeah, but even more confusing is that Lowe's of Clayton has a Garner address, according to their website: LOWE'S OF CLAYTON, NC, #0677 101 CLEVELAND CROSSING DRIVE GARNER, NC 27529 I guess it's because they have a Lowe's of Garner that they're calling the 40/42 one Lowe's of Clayton.
#1 - Does anyone know if there is going to be a McD's in the new Walmart? I swear a saw the golden arches logo on the outside of it. #2 - Does anyone know if the satellite stores are planning on opening on/around the same time? (Can't wait to have a local game stop!!!)
I think some of the shops have already opened....I saw a falshing 'OPEN' sign in the window of something up there on the hill.....
how come noone has mentioned the possibility of opening a new tattoo, body piercing, head shop in that area as well?
oooo. i didn't know that. I drove by the other day and they all looked pretty empty to me. But I didn't really slow down and look good b/c there were a lot of other people driving around and I didn't want to PO someone by driving slow!
I saw the McDonald's arches on the side of hte Walmart so should have one inside. Now that will be hard to get hte kids away from--LOL. Of course, we accumulate around 50 or more of those free burger coupons each school year so it will be convenient. Anyhow, I say open at Fantastic Sam's but don't know if they are or not. I went to the grand opening of the Walmart in Clayton and it wasn't too maddening back then adn then gave LOTS of samples/ free stuff away so definitely worth the stopping by. I have not noticed a whole lot of rough traffic around there. There is still the same backup that there was before around 5 or so but I honestly haven't noticed a huge difference. Hope it stays that way. I'd love to know what the building on the left is w/ the red awnings. For a recession, still much building going on in this area for sure. Hope it stays that way as I have many friends out of work right now & this growth may help them. stephanie--mom to 7
Yes there is/will be a McDonalds inside. There is a sign in the window of McDonalds at 4042 saying they are hiring for the one inside Walmart.

There is going to a Murphy Gas there, so that might be it. I was thinking it looked like a Cici's Pizza, but we would ahve heard about that by now if it was going there, dontcha think? I'm hoping that Murphy Gas will bring down the gas prices around there. Teh stations there are 10 cents or more higher than south Raleigh near my work, and it would be nice to be able to get gas closer to home.
I rode through the new fiasco up there on the hill at the new WalMarts....it's going to be a getting in and out of/parking/driving nightmare.....and it's quite small.
After learning of the "backdoor" drive, I think that will be my point of entry. I can only imagine what that place will be like in about four months!
