I am the varsity cheer coach at Cleveland High School and we are very excited to offer a cheer clinic this weekend. A great way for kids to stay active and stay warm! I've pasted the information below: October 29, 2011 9:00—2:00 Cleveland High School 1892 Polenta Road Clayton, NC 27520 919-934-2455 kelleytownsend@johnston.k12.nc.us The Cleveland High School Cheerleaders are holding their first community cheer clinic. The clinic is open to all area youth between the ages of 5-13 (kindergarten—8th grade). All participants will be grouped by age and will learn sideline cheers for football and basketball as well as a terrific and spooky cheer dance! All instruction is done by the amazing Cleveland Cheer Team! The clinic runs from 9-2, at 11:30 we will break for a sack lunch (athlete needs to bring) and at 1:30 we will put on an exhibition show for parents, family and friends. The $40 fee for participation covers the instruction as well as a t-shirt.
