Any merchandise tagged or paid for, but not removed by close of business October 21, will be available for purchase Monday October 22 at 9:30 a.m. Effective close of business Sunday October 21 the Cleveland Library will cease regular hours and be available during demand and on-the-road hours only. Call 919-661-6565 to check our schedule, before coming over. Volunteers and community service workers are needed to load trucks and distribute books-call for schedule. The work pattern for truck loading will be load and then wait for another truck. Various companies and volunteers will be loading trucks to remove the books (and book cases that are not sold and removed by close of business Monday). The drive will be blocked temporarily by a crane and truck moving the bookmobile to Pamlico County. Service workers will be fixing up the warehouse for the next tenant. There are still 7,000 books (6 titles, adult reading level) to be given away. These were not part of the library collection, but new books from the $710,000 donated to the adult reading program. For more information, call 919-661-6565.
For more information, call 919-661-6565 until the building is empty. After that, we will have a new number assigned, which will be posted on our Web site http://4042needs.org.
