I went by there and checked out several homes, the homes are really nice. Anybody familiar with that area? It's not too far from Dr. Riccobene's office (behind). If living there, the schools would be Westview, Cleveland, and West Johnston. Any comments? We're thinking about buying a house to be closer to our jobs.
Slab built homes, just fyi. Some people don't like that. They looked very much to me like the ones in Adam's Point. I wonder if it is the same builder?
We are on a slab up her in (vomit) Apex and it sucks! There's tile floor in the kitchen (doesn't match the kitchen) and it's FREEZING!!!! to walk across without SHOES on! If you can, OP,find something with a crawl space. Good Luck with your search.
$1495/mo??? DAM!!! Up here in uppity (vomit again) Apex I'm paying $1295/mo :banghead::banghead::banghead: killmenow
Harley - You just need to go ahead and buy my house!!! BTW - did you drive by today? I didn't end up getting home until 2:30.
:banghead: Nope went flying by and didn't stop. We are going to probably build if I EVER get back *home*:cry::cry: DH was in your neighborhood today though meeting with the builder & customer. I should have told him to swing by and look at your house. :banghead::banghead: My brain doesn't work most of the time anymore.
I'm not sure what your hubby does, but was he at the house they're building on the corner? The one that's framed up? If so, my house is 4 houses down from there. We drive by everyday and my 2 yo gets very excited (he loves construction) and my 8 yo says "if that was daddy's house, he'd be done by now!" my hubby is known for building houses quickly...he's got a little ADHD in him, likes things to move quickly! (he built our old house in 60 days, and that was with snow on the ground!)
I kinda like the concrete slab....our beach house is on a concrete slab and has tile floors (and HG it IS super cold in winter) but it's super cool in the summer and its virtually soundproof when folks are walking about. Now HG go buy DMJ's house....LOL.
