As planned (sort of). I gave her the ring at the restaurant. I ended up giving her a condensed version of the speech I had been formulating for a week. Basically, when I looked in to her eyes, I forgot most of what I had planned on saying. She really liked the ring, but didn't have quite the reaction that I thought. She's usually a crier, but didn't shed a tear. I was afraid I screwed up, but she set my mind at ease. This morning, she said she couldn't wait to show the ring to her co-workers. All in all, I think I did good.
Maybe she didn't feel comfortable showing her emotions in front of your dinner guest - ?? Is she wearing that ring on her left hand ring finger? :-D
She probably didn't shed a tear because she was probably anticipating a ring. Sounds like it went well tho. Frogger
Well, technically she's currently wearing it on right hand. But, that's because it's a little big (I coulda swore she wore a size 7). However, when she showed it off to her co-workers, she said she put it on the correct hand/finger. Actually, thinking about it, it was probably the shock of getting the ring. Later, she told me she really loved it.
Clif, as C6 and I were celebrating our Valentine's time, we talked about you guys, hoping that all would turn out well. Blessings! H6
