I was coming through 4042 this morning when I realized that the local realtors and churches have used the corner of 42 and Cleveland school for their dumping grounds for all their signs. I bet there must be at least 100 signs on that single corner. There is an old wood one that has fallen over and been on the ground for weeks now. What ever happened to advertising in the paper? I just thought that it made the intersection look very sloppy. As I traveled down Cleveland RD towards Smithfield the other intersections were also cluttered with signs. I was just wondering what people thought. I can understand one sign but there is many intersections that have two of the same signs at them. I realize that I'm probably helping them by posting this but I also hope they realize that it is making Cleveland area look bad.
I totally agree with you. I've thought about going up there after dark and taking them all down. I just don't understand why the same realtor has to put 10 signs advertising the same subdivision (Adam's Pointe) at every intersection. I know the highway dept. used to come by and take them all down but I guess they just gave up.
They come by every couple of months and clean it up. I suppose if you gave them a call - they'd maybe come out and take care it. I also noticed the light pole on the CVS corner has tons of crap stapled to it too! Looks like crap around here!
I will join the crusade. I understand people want to sell homes but it does make the area look trashy and I think we have a great community which is plenty populated. Adam's Point is going to have 500 homes. YIKES!! Traffic is going to be a mess. Name the time and place, I will be there!
