This summer my 7yr old son learned to ski & wake board. He's far from a pro -but he really enjoyed it. A neighbor mentioned the Coble Ski School in Lillington. It looks like a place where a kid could really have a blast. Has anyone every had any experience with this place? I want to hear the good & the bad. We are thinking about letting our son take lessons in the Spring - but I was hoping to hear what others had to say about the place. I don't think he's old enough for the overnight camp option yet - but lessons from a real pro would probably be something he would really enjoy - if they are really good handling kids.

    Thank You :)

That looks like a pretty cool place. I didn't even know it existed!

She is the best around with no doubt. I know a few who go there and they have no desire to look anywhere else.

I didn't know they had snow and mountains around here in the spring!

My son just got back from camp at Coble Ski School. I thought about letting him go last summer ... but I was too chicken to let him go to an overnight camp because I thought he was too young. I wasn't really sure if he was ready for it this year either (at least I wasn't) but he loved it. He was sooooo tired when I picked him up yesterday afternoon. He fell asleep on the way home from Lillington. I had to wake him up so we could go out to dinner with the grandparents last night. He managed to stay awake through dinner ... but he was back out again shortly after that. I guess a few days filled with swimming, skiing and slumber parties could wear a kid out.

my parents live accross the street from coble ski school, ive kown the cobles for about 10 years, they are great people and the ski school is second to none,it is always regonized as one of if not the top ski school in the country, their daughter april is something like a 8 time world champ, all the teachers are professional skiers and wake boarders, i think if i am not mistaken they use to live in angier and mr coble was the head football caoch at harnett central or western harnett for like 20 years, bottom line they are good people and i would not hesitate to send my kids their

I cannot believe a year later you are letting him go. It's a great place. I have friends who have had their kids going to that place for years. PM me if you need any references.

    P.S. Actually two years?
