Does anyone know of a coffee shop or some other small restaurant at 40/42 or White Oak that would be good for meeting with someone? It needs to be something that is open at 11 am on a weekday.

Swift Creek Coffee Shop is right up the road from White Oak and i have heard good things about it, my old boss used to have meetings there.

I'll second swift creek coffee shop. I go there a couple of times a month to drink coffee and do my chemistry or nuclear medicine studying.

    Their address is:
    Forest Hills Shopping Plaza
1350 Fith Ave. at Forest Hills
    Garner, North Carolina 27529

I wrote it just as I saw it on their business card

While not exactly the 40/42 or White Oak area, there is always the Coffee Mill in Clayton.

Again, not in the 'right' area, but I meet at Aversboro Coffee and they go out of their way for my group!

I don't have it with me, but if IIRC, Swift Creek coffee house has a coupon in the Clayton Clipper that just came in the mail yesterday.

I like both Aversboro Rd., and Electric Beanz (over at the Harris Teeter shopping center @ 1010/401). Neither of which are close to White Oak or 40/42... but worth the trip if in the general vicinity.

They closed that one and changed their name on their other location. They are up on 70 now I think they care called Clayton coffee or Clayton bakery or something.

The location behind Smithfield's is now a scuba shop
